Announcing SongbookPro Groups
We are pleased to announce that a new product, SongbookPro Groups, is now available. SongbookPro Groups is designed to simplify the use of the SongbookPro app for bands and other musical groups.
This new service will initially provide a number of benefits for groups, including:
- Keeping the group’s songs and set lists separate from individual member’s personal libraries.
- Automatic synchronization of songs and set lists between members of the organization, with full offline capability.
- Centralized and cost-effective app licencing for the whole group.
- A new web interface for managing your music library and administering your organization.
- Limit editing access to members of your organization if required.
With SongbookPro Groups, individual members of your organization won’t need to purchase their own app license.
This new platform will also enable SongbookPro to add new, highly requested features in the future. We are considering features that may allow one leader to control multiple people’s tablets while playing a set, or detailed analytics of how frequently songs are played. These example features are not currently in development, but are given as an example of how this new platform approach has the power to unlock new exciting features in the future.
Sounds great, how do I find out more?

FAQs
What does the service cost?
SongbookPro Groups is available as a low-cost subscription. For full pricing details please see our pricing page.
Will the existing one-time purchase option for the SongbookPro app will be discontinued?
No, the existing one-time purchase option will continue to be available and we have no price changes currently planned. We have re-branded the existing one-time purchase option to “SongbookPro Solo” to help clarify the different ways to purchase SongbookPro.
What about the existing sync system in SongbookPro?
The existing sync system (where libraries can be synchronized using a cloud storage provider) is not going anywhere. The original sync system was primarily designed to synchronize individual users libraries rather than libraries shared between multiple users, and while it can be used by groups there are a number of issues that make it unreliable and inflexible when used in this way. It is these issues that SongbookPro Groups is designed to address, while adding additional features focused on improving the experience of using SongbookPro in bands and other music groups.
How many people can I add to my organization?
As many or as few as you would like! Please see our pricing page for further details.
