SongbookPro Update - Autumn 2025
In our last blog posed we mentioned we were planning a second major update to the SongbookPro app this year. Well, we’re pleased to announce that version 25.1 is now available! The last time we released two major updates in the same year was in 2022, so we’re pleased to be back on that cadence again.
Will we be able to keep this up for next year? You’ll have to wait and see!
SongbookPro 25.1
This release includes a number of highly requested features including:
-
Syncing handwritten notes
When using the built-in sync system, handwritten notes are now synced between your personal devices. Please note that as handwritten notes are primarily intended for personal use, SongbookPro Groups deliberately does not sync your handwritten notes. -
Chromatic tuner
SongbookPro now has a built in chromatic tuner. You can access this from the … menu in the top bar. -
Pining setlists to the top of the list
Another much requested feature, you can now pin setlists to the top of the list to keep specific lists easy to access.

We have also made improvements to a number of existing features including:
- The ability to replace the content of PDF songs.
- The ability to add multiple MIDI messages to each song.
- Support for ChordPro Grid syntax.
- The ability to print set overviews in a compact table format.
For a full list of changes, please see the release notes.
iPadOS 26 support
With the introduction of iOS 26 (and more specifically iPadOS 26) Apple have completely changed the UI style of their devices. These changes (and other things they’ve changed at the same time) have caused some small issues with the SongbookPro app.
With the release of version 25.1 we’ve resolved all these issues so all features should now be working correctly for those of you have have already updated to iPadOS 26.
